Enfield Baptist Church actively responds to Jesus’ command to “go therefore and make all nations my disciples” (Matt 28:19).
Our response is demonstrated through what we do and support at a Local, National and International level.
We regard ‘being on mission’ as central to what it means to be part of Enfield Baptist Church and this missional call is to be active in all life - as we share the great calling of reconciling 'all things' in Jesus Christ.
As part of our calling in mission we connect regularly with those serving in overseas situations as they share about the work they are doing and the challenges they face.
Thailand:
Thailand is our “Adopt a People” group. Enfield Baptist Church supports mission teams throughout Thailand, providing financial aid for specific projects and prayer support – as well as maintaining regular contact with the teams. Enfield Baptist is regularly updated on the work being carried out in Thailand.
In early 2007, a team of 7 from Enfield Baptist Church visited northern Thailand to construct a playground for a local school in a Buddhist community. The playground has provided an opportunity for local Christian workers to befriend and engage the local community and share Jesus with them.

Iron and Clay:
We actively support Cherie Beasy and Lauren McKee, members of Enfield Baptist Church, as they serve with Sydney based Christian band Iron and Clay. Cherie and Lauren serve full-time and the team’s mission sees them going into high schools around Australia and overseas, and sharing about Jesus in a contemporary and relevant way through music and personal testimony.

Company of Grace:
Hoa Stone, Director of Company of Grace - was orphaned as a child during the Vietnam War. He also has a physical disability (polio) and walks with the aid of crutches. After a traumatic and dramatic life growing up in Australia, he returned to his homeland as a humanitarian worker in 1998.
Hoa has a dream to help disadvantaged children with a physical disability have a brighter future. Through the Company of Grace a variety of life enhancing services will be provided to local Vietnamese communities.
Our Church is actively supporting Hoa and helping him to realise his dream.
