Genesis 1: The Origin
This morning we read through Genesis 1, where God creates the world in six days and declares it good. In his sermon Steve points out that the story actually starts with God, not us, showing we’re made in God’s image and meant to team up with Him instead of just following orders. He talks about God hanging out over the mess, inviting us into a family of creators. Knowing this makes the whole Bible feel more relevant and gives us a clearer sense of purpose.
